A large on-screen WARNING message is displayed in Javelin for Windows – why?

The on-screen message explains exactly what the problem is – the publisher has selected the option to “Disable screen capture” when they generated this document in Drumlin, and on PCs this causes Javelin to check to see if any screen capture program is running in the background on the user’s computer. If it is the screen window with the page display is disabled and a relevant WARNING message explaining to the end user what to do is shown. The solution is to close the offending screen capture program, in the manner explained in the on-screen message. The alternative option is not to issue documents with the Disable Screen Capture option ticked, and this problem will not occur.
