Code expiry

Authorization codes remain on our SQLServer database indefinitely in most instances. However, codes now include an expiry date as a means of protecting very old codes that are “floating around” from being usable when perhaps they should really have been disabled or deleted. The expiry date is set at the date of code creation+3 years, and this date is stored in the record for each code. If required the expiry date of a code block can be amended to be longer, shorter or effectively ‘forever’.
