Secure PDF creation using Drumlin Publisher

The Videos below show the use of our free DrumlinPublisher software to create a secured version of a two-page PDF called ftse.pdf - DrumlinPublisher is used to create secure PDFs with permissions settings such as "no printing", "expires after 30 days", "can be viewed 5 times only" etc. Typically the files that are created using Drumlin will be saved in our special format .DRMZ, so in this example the file ftse.drmz will be created. Files in this special format are readable on PCs, Macs, iPADs, iPhones and Android devices using our free Javelin PDF reader software. Before a user can read the file, however, they must enter a valid authorization code for that specific document. If the code is valid and not already used the document will be enabled for that specific device. Code creation and usage tracking is now included within the Drumlin Publisher software, and this is demonstrated in the third video (video 1c) on this page

When the DrumlinPublisher videos are complete please view Video 2, which shows the end user experience (on a PC) having received a secured PDF created in the Video 1 set.

Now please view Video 1a, which shows the first part of the publishing process - Registering if not already registered for publishing, followed by selection of files to publish to our encrypted format (3 minutes)

Now please view Video 1b, which shows the second part of the publishing process - specifying the permission controls you require and adding intelligent watermarking (9 minutes)

Now please view Video 1c, which shows the final part of the publishing process - generating authorization codes and tracking usage (5 minutes)

Now please view Video 2, which shows the end user experience (on a PC) having received a secured PDF created in Video 1
